B Lundqvist was a Swedish painter and draughtsman born on April 3, 1915. He studied art in Gävle and Copenhagen and under Isaac Grünewald in Stockholm. He exhibited his work in Gävle Art Hall in 1938 and at Gävle Museum in 1947, regularly participating in local art exhibitions. Lundqvist created public works, including wall paintings for schools and institutions. His art mainly featured landscapes from Northern Sweden and Palestine. He is represented in several museums, including Gävle Museum and Hudiksvall Museum.
